Why remote reiki attunements are effective

There has often been a lot of debate within the reiki community in regards to the subject of attuning someone to reiki remotely.

Is this an effective way of initiating someone into reiki?

The answer is - yes - remote attunements work.

Doing an attunement in person is no different than doing it remotely.

The intention is exactly the same. Reiki is effective regardless of any distance involved between the teacher and student. There have always been dogmatic views held by some reiki teachers from various schools of thought that remote attunements are not effective if they are not carried out in person but the fact remains that this way of working remains no less effective.

Some reiki schools and associations do not accept remote attunements as credible but in my opinion, they would be more credible if they understood the inherent nature of reiki and the fact that location and distance is no boundary to the effectiveness of reiki.

If remote reiki treatments work, then it stands to reason that remote reiki attunements work!

The reiki teacher is merely a channel for the energy. The attunement flows through them from the source, whether you identify with it as the divine, God, universal consciousness, etc. it comes from there and not the reiki master.

The transference of energy works when holding the intention that the student/client receives what they need. There does not need to be a live ritual to attune a student to reiki. Being initiated into reiki is equally special and significant whether it is carried out in-person or remotely.
